what to expect

getting ready

Built into the bell towers, The Elliot hosts two dressing rooms with original stained glass, soft seating & mirrors. Take advantage of the natural light and enjoy a toast on the balcony while getting ready for your big day.

the ceremony

Exchange your vows in front of family & friends in The Ballroom under the glow of our crystal chandelier or in front of our iconic rose window on The Ballroom’s balcony for a more intimate feel. The minimal, yet elegant backdrop provides a blank canvas that can be as dressed up or down as you see fit.

the cocktail hour

Following “I do,” your guests can enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in The Rosehip Room, our intimate speakeasy tailored for mingling & entertainment.

the reception

Whether you envision a traditional dinner or a chic cocktail party, The Elliot offers flexible, refined settings crafted to ensure your celebration is an unforgettable experience. With a group of 50 or fewer, you’ll have the option of sharing your first dance under The Ballroom’s chandelier or The Rosehip Room’s disco ball.

Keep the party going in The Rosehip Room or visit one of the many popular bars in Tremont and Ohio City. On Professor Avenue, just a few blocks from The Elliot, you’ll find some of our favorites - Hi & Dry, Danny’s on Professor, Treehouse, Edison’s & The Flying Monkey.

The Elliot is located across the street from Tremont’s beloved Lincoln Park. Adorned with 8 acres of lush trees, blooming hydrangeas & a charming gazebo, Lincoln Park offers the perfect backdrop for your wedding ceremony.

Dependent on availability, you can decide to host your ceremony at Lincoln Park and we will arrange the permit for you!

Clients hosting their reception at The Elliot must request the permit at least 45 days prior to the event - but sooner is better! In case of inclement weather, a “plan b” must be prepared with The Elliot.

Want to keep celebrating without relocating to a second location? Host an after-party for your family & friends in The Rosehip Room.

gratuity package

If you want to tip our bartenders on behalf of your guests, let us know and we will add 15% of your final beverage package to your bill. Guests will be notified that gratuity has been graciously covered by their host. Payment can be made via check or cash.

  • Glassware is provided by your caterer.

  • $1,500 minimum package required.

  • 8% sales tax & 20% admin fee not included.

  • Bar package selection due 45 days prior to your event.

  • Final guest count due 14 days prior to your event.

  • Per ABC laws, all alcoholic beverages must be provided by The Elliot. All outside alcoholic beverages will be confiscated and the client will be subject to a $500 fine.

The Elliot is equipped with a preparation kitchen for the use of one of our four exclusive caterers. We have thoughtfully curated this list of partners to provide the quality and expertise of local chefs and experienced event professionals, giving you one less thing to worry about.

What does the caterer provide?

The caterer you choose from our list will be responsible for all of the setup, teardown & trash removal for your event. They will also provide staffing, linens, flatware, glassware, china & any other rentals you may need.

You are required to use one of our caterer for your wedding, but are welcome to provide your own cakes, desserts & late-night snacks.
