It may sound a little strange to say it… but the morning of a wedding is one of the best parts of the day (aside from the exchanging of “I do,” of course.) There’s something so special about getting your makeup and hair done alongside your family members and very best friends—enjoying laughs, love songs, and snacks together before full party mode gets switched on.
While you might have imagined getting ready in a hotel suite, have you considered beginning and ending your day with The Elliot? You read that right…getting ready on site comes with your contract to make your hectic day run even smoother. And even better, there are many perks to getting married at The Elliot, so here’s why you should also get ready on the balcony.
You’ll get early access to the venue.
Your wedding party and your beauty vendors will have access to the balcony beginning at 8 A.M. sharp, complete with tables and chairs. With on-site parking, this is a great option for local party members and vendors who can easily pull up and get acclimated to the venue with ease. Once you’re at the venue, you don’t have to stress about driving through Cleveland traffic (especially on game days) because you’re already at your main destination.
You’ll get exclusive use of the spaces.
Beyond using this space for hair/makeup and changing, it’s perfect for a morning brunch. After all, a future spouse *needs* to eat. The Elliot absolutely encourages bringing in your favorite breakfast foods or ordering takeout from nearby eateries and coffee shops. Your venue coordinator will make sure all of your deliveries arrive in the balcony hot (or cold) and ready.
Excitingly, we also offer exclusive use of The Rosehip Room for the other half of your wedding party. This is especially ideal if you don’t want to see each other until walking down the aisle.
P.S. You can safely store your items in the dressing rooms, our main office, or in our downstairs lobby closet for the entire day.

Your photographer and videographer will be utterly thrilled to see the natural light pouring through the gorgeous rose stained-glass window.
Whether you’re looking for candid moments or posed portraits, the balcony setting offers several spots for capturing memories. And of course, it’s the best place to get a chandelier picture, too.

Soft couches, floor-length mirrors, and two spacious dressing rooms make this the ideal getting ready location, especially for large parties. And if you know us, you know we love blasting tunes. (What is a wedding day without a little ABBA, right?)
We have a Bluetooth speaker for you on the balcony and the venue attendant can connect music to our speaker system in The Rosehip Room.
Our bar packages and drink services will help start the party.
Get your toasts going bright and early in the morning. Our bar staff can set up a Champagne toast, a mimosa bar, and a variety of beer and seltzers for your wedding party.
