The Elliot was built with weddings in mind. Our spaces were carefully designed to host ceremonies, cocktail hours & receptions in one venue, offering you and your guests a seamless experience from the first kiss to the last dance.

GETTING READY

Built into the bell towers, The Elliot hosts two dressing rooms with original stained glass, soft seating & mirrors. With access as early as 8 AM, make the most of the natural light and enjoy brunch on the balcony while getting ready for your big day.

the ceremony

Exchange your vows in front of family & friends in The Ballroom under the glow of our crystal chandelier. The minimal, yet elegant backdrop provides a blank canvas that can be as dressed up or down as you see fit.

the cocktail hour

Following “I do,” your guests can enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in The Rosehip Room, our intimate speakeasy tailored for mingling & entertainment. While The Ballroom is being transformed for the reception, take advantage of local photo opportunities including Lincoln Park's gazebo, Tremont’s colorful architecture & the Cleveland skyline.

Whether you envision a traditional dinner or a chic cocktail party, The Elliot offers a refined setting crafted to ensure your reception is an unforgettable experience. Make your grand entrance as newlyweds down The Ballroom's staircase into the wedding you’ve always dreamed of and dance the night away.

Keep the party going in The Rosehip Room or visit one of the many popular bars in Tremont and Ohio City. On Professor Avenue, just a few blocks from The Elliot, you’ll find some of our favorites - Hi & Dry, Danny’s on Professor, Treehouse, Edison’s & The Flying Monkey.

the fine print

  • Glassware is provided by your caterer.
  • $3,500 minimum package required.
  • 8% sales tax & 20% admin fee not included.
  • Bar package selection due 45 days prior to your event.
  • Final guest count due 14 days prior to your event.
  • Per ABC laws, all alcoholic beverages must be provided by The Elliot. All outside alcoholic beverages will be confiscated and the client will be subject to a $500 fine.
“We had our wedding reception at The Elliot and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! They’ve done an amazing job with the space, I was blown away when we saw it come together at our reception! Our guest count ended up at 157 which meant we could fit everyone on the first floor. We had our Photo Booth and some cocktail tables in the balcony under the stained glass which guests enjoyed. There was plenty of space for the dance floor and during the cocktail hour in the Rosehip room. It can get slightly echo-y but we hired an experienced DJ so it wasn’t an issue. It meant a lot to us to have our wedding in Tremont at such a gorgeous venue!”
