Joseph & Rachel’s Romantic Winter Reception at The Elliot

MORNING MIMOSAS IN THE BALCONY

Set in front of the Rose Window, the bride and closest family took advantage of the quiet morning at The Elliot to get ready. They sipped on mimosas while their hair and makeup artist took advantage of the balcony light.

The bride met the groom down the aisle for an offsite Ceremony at a nearby church.

Guests came out of the cold and right into the warmth of the cozy Rosehip Room, greeted with cocktails and poured wine at the bar. A guitarist played a variety of music from the stage to set the mood.

The couple opted to use the opening of cocktail hour to take photos offsite at nearby locations and peek into the reception space for a first look. They also took time to have a quiet moment together in the balcony before the grand entrance.

The inspiration for the reception layout was for the couple to feel surrounded by their family and friends. With the intimate sweetheart table and ample dancefloor centered in the middle of the room, from grand entrance to dinner and the first dances, the couple were wrapped with love from all angles.

The Floor plan included 60” Rounds and a half-round sweetheart table.

4-5 PM — Cocktail Hour in The Rosehip Room
5:10 PM — Guests are seated for the Reception in The Ballroom

5:10-10 PM — Reception

  • Dance Floor opens & Private Cake Cutting

The couple opened the reception with toasts and saved the first dance to open up the dance floor. A small cutting cake on the sweetheart table built a stunning centerpiece and allowed them to enjoy a private cake cutting during dinner service. 

Following dinner service, guests joined the couple on the dancefloor surrounded by the glow of candlelight.

Vendors were communicated with during the event, including cues. We packed up their personal items and had the car ready for their departure.
